MIT World Videos
I really love MIT World's videos. I search for videos on physics, biology, and economics. I must have watched half of all available videos! Here are some links to videos you may enjoy.
The Craft of Science Fiction, Joe Haldeman: http://mitworld.mit.edu/video/415/
I really enjoyed Joe Haldeman's Forever War back when I was in college. When I discovered MIT taped a reading by him, it was a no-brainer to decide to watch it. He is very funny on the video! I am definitely going to buy the Accidental Time Machine when it comes out later this year.
The Human Genome Project: http://mitworld.mit.edu/video/25/
The Human Genome Project is dated now, but this video shows the excitement the scientists felt when they could finally showoff their difficult but exhilarating research. You realize how much advances in gene sampling tools and computer technology was necessary to complete the project. They were very much making the tools as they were doing the research.
