Blog Test - recent cards & sewing projects
Here are some of my recent craft projects.
The yellow blanket is for Alexander Wescott, and the blue blanket is for Daniel Bernatz. Daniel's blanket was finally mailed in December 2006. Daniel has given it a name, and he likes the blanket very much. The materials were selected based on a bib that Daniel loves. Top is a soft velour and bottom is a soft satin. There is a middle layer of cloud-like Thinsulate batting. I started on Daniel's blanket back in January 2006, and had almost finished it, but then we moved to California. I was not able to get back to it until November 2006. It was finally mailed in time for Christmas 2006. I began Alexander's blanket in November 2006. The backing and binding still needs to be done.
The red handmade card was sent to Carl and Monette Wescott with photos of the Work-In-Process blanket.
This is my first test post on VOX. It works MUCH better than Blogger. No more extreme lags for uploading photos! Here is my previous blog on Blogger.com. I was looking for a better blog provider because I was very unhappy with my 1st blog experiment on Blogger. I read a review on PC Magazine about VOX and immediately tried it. I am very happy I did! I really like PC Magazine, but am sad it seems to be dying. The March 6, 2007 issue is very thin indeed.
