I have started to sew 3 years ago by taking a continuing education class on quilting. Since then, I have really gone wild on sewing, acquiring all kinds of books and tools and several sewing machines. About 1 year ago, my friend Alisa got me started on handmade cards. Since then, I have again gone wild on card making by exploring all kinds of medium, tool, and methods. I have brached out into using brass stencils from DreamWeaver Stencils. They are very elegant on white cards. I don't have a day-job now, but instead I am starting a web company with Bill, my husband (who works for Stanford Univ as his day job). StockWiki.com will help non-professionals analyze small-cap stock investments just like the pros. We focus heavily on spreadsheet analysis of 10Q and 10K financial reports. A working knowledge of accounting is necessary to get the full benefit from our site. We will also have web 2.0 features like recommendations, wisdom-of-crowds prediction model, and group-built information wiki on each stock. We plan to have slow, controlled growth by inviting only a selection of people to join us. We are pre-launch.
